Written by Hildegard Crous and Graham Duncan and published by the South African National Biodiversity Institute, Kirstenbosch, 2006. This guide gives an overall appreciation of all aspects of Disa cultivation with particular emphasis on the evergreen Disas. 119 pages beautifully illustrated with photographs. 

Orchids of Africa

Orchids of Africa was published by McMillan South Africa (Publishers) (Pty) Ltd. in 1981. The book contains exquisite paintings by renowned botanical artist Esme F. Hennessy and descriptions by the late botanist Joyce Stewart. It contains a number of select epiphytic and terrestrial orchid species. The book has become a collectors item and is sometimes available from second hand bookstores and from private collections.
